Direct Dresses Wins Again!

On Saturday the 10th of November Direct Dresses were delighted to win Northern Irelands Best Bridal Retailer – 1st runner up. It is the second year the company have won at the Getting Married in Northern Irelands reader awards and the fourth award the company have won in the past two years.

Started just over three years ago Direct Dresses was set up to provide the modern bride with high quality bridal wear at affordable prices and has been very successful at doing just that. With two shops in Belfast and Derry the company owned by Shauna and Stephen Gibson keeps going from strength to strength.

Honoured at Council Civic Reception in recognition of Enterprise Achievements 2007

Strabane District Council held a prestigious civic reception on Thursday 22nd March in honour of Shauna Gibson, owner of Directdresses.com. The reception was held in recognition of her outstanding enterprise achievements within the SME sector in Northern Ireland. Shauna was presented with a beautiful piece of engraved Tyrone Crystal by Chairman of the Council Thomas Kerrigan.

Directdresses.com has been voted the best bridal retailer in Northern Ireland. The company owned by Shauna and Stephen Gibson, with stores in Belfast and Derry, was started just over two years ago to provide the modern bride high quality, stylish wedding attire at affordable prices with top class service. The company fought off competition from over 100 other retailers in Northern Ireland to scoop the top prize. The prize was voted for by the brides of the Getting Married in Northern Ireland magazine since November 05.

A beautiful Tyrone Crystal trophy was presented to Directdresses.com by Linda Bryans and Mike Nesbitt in recognition of their contribution to making the weddings of Northern Ireland couples extra special. This is the first year of the awards and the ceremony was a glittering gala awards ceremony held in the Stormont Hotel, Belfast, on Saturday night, November 18th 2006.
